Another great Cybershot August 13, 2010 Hpu2000 (North Carolina United States) I had a Cybershot DSC W150 that I dropped and broke. Bought this as a replacement and am very pleased. It is very easy to use and if you're mostly a "set it on automatic" kind of user, it is great. The only issue is darkness in low light, but this has been improved with this camera and I've found this to be an issue in almost any small point and shoot. Of course, just turning on some lights helps the situation ; ) I also love that the battery lasts so long on one charge. Definitely enough for a whole weekend on one charge. Great little camera overall that makes it easy to get good pictures without any effort on your part.
Great camera when it WORKS :( July 27, 2010 Pam Nicely (New Market, VA USA)
I received this camera for a Christmas gift last year and I loved it at first. It took come great pictures and the zoom was awesome. However, my love was short-lived. In the short 7 months that I have owned it, it has gone to the Sony repair center TWICE. It just refuses to open...tells me to turn off and back on...etc. I've removed the battery numerous times. No go. The lens stays put. By the looks of the other reviews, I probably just got a lemon. However, be warned. When it works, it's very very good. But when it doesn't.... You'll get very very frustrated. Once this camera is out of the warranty period, if it breaks again, it's going in the trash and I'll be searching for a new camera.
great camera at a great price May 11, 2010 M.Bown (Montclair, CA United States) liked the quality of the pictures, but the battery life is low. good price and great look. love the blue color.
great camera for every day use May 3, 2010 Donald J. Bellott Jr. (Memphis) This was a purchase for our 13 year old. She finds it easy to use and handy. The memory card does require a device that fits over it in order to create photos at a store. This sleeve was not included in the camera and we have not been able to find one anywhere. The photo shop we use does have one.
